Bangka Bungalows

Located on
pristine, white sand beach, Murex opened these simple but exclusive
bungalows early 2003. Equipped for 12 divers, Bangka Bungalows
offers divers flexible dive times, (especially important for night
dives) without the hassle of long boat rides to all the great dive
sites in this area.

Murex in Manado. Our guests love staying with us because they love the

Manadonese hospitality is legendary. Within a few hours of your arrival, our
staff know you by name. We're interested in you as a person; we're never too
busy that we don't have time to stop and chat and share our love of North
Sulawesi and its diving with you.
At Murex we don't just have guests - we have friends to stay.
Delicious and abundant fresh food
The food is great. Full of local flair and flavour, it's fresh, it's varied,
and very tasty.
And there's plenty of it because we know that a hungry diver is not a happy
diver.
The choice is wide, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Between meals there is
continuous complimentary tea, coffee and ice water. In the afternoons there
are local snacks to keep your energy up until dinner. Once a week, at least,
we have a barbecue banquet with whole spit roasted pig, barbecue fish,
prawns, and a variety of very delicious local dishes, and the freshest of
seasonal fruits.

Bangka Bungalows
are a diver’s vision of a Robinson Crusoe tropical island paradise. Beneath shady trees, natural timber bungalows
stand on soft, powdery-white sand. Step off your veranda and in three or
four paces you can plunge into the crystal clear, turquoise waters of the
lagoon – brilliant snorkelling, by the way.
